Welcome to the 2025 Lake Placid Film Festival Volunteer Registration Page! 

Your work as Volunteers is hugely important in making this event a success.  In the past, our attendees have often commented on the warm and helpful reception you provide.  Thank you! 

Here is some information to read prior to signing up for your shifts:

* Volunteer Orientation will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 7pm -9pm.  Enjoy complimentary wine and beer while we present information and helpful materials to ensure you can easily assist the attendees and enjoy your own experience.  We will also show you the trailers of all the feature films that will be shown over the weekend.  

* Orientation is mandatory but if you have a conflict please contact Ashleah@adirondackfilm.org to arrange another time. 

* You may sign up for as many shifts as you would like!  In order to receive the Full Festival Pass benefit for volunteering you will need to sign up for 2 shifts.   Most shifts are 3 hours, some may be a little bit longer to accomodate the attendees. That will be explained in each shifts' information.  

Benefits for Volunteering for 2 shifts:

 * Tee-Shirt (this year's shirt is soft, long sleeve, black with a neon green logo)

 * Full Festival Pass  (worth $100) provides entry into the Opening Party, the Opening Film, every seminar, every feature film, every shorts screening and the Filmmakers/VIP Lounge.  The Friday night "Red Carpet Cocktails" is the only event not included in your Festival Pass.

You are also invited to Saturday night's Short Film Competition Awards at 8pm being held in High Peaks Resort and the Closing Celebration Party at the BlueBird Hotel  at 9pm with a DJ and light show and cash bar.
