Welcome to the 2023 Lake Placid Film Festival Volunteer Registration Page!
Your work as Volunteers is hugely important in making this event a success. In the past, our attendees have often commented on the warm and helpful reception you provide. Thank you!
Here is some information to read prior to signing up for your shifts:
* Volunteer Orientation will be held on Tuesday, October 24 at 6:30pm at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts (LPCA). This is mandatory; we will present information and helpful materials to ensure you have a perfect volunteer experience and the attendees gloat over you again! You will also pick up your t-shirts and badges. We will be inviting the public to come by around 7:30 to enjoy the trailers with you.
* If you have a conflict for the Volunteer Orientation, please contact Matt@adirondackfilm.org and we'll arrange another time.
* You may sign up for as many shifts as you would like! In order to receive the Full Festival Pass benefit for volunteering you will need to sign up for 3 shifts. Most shifts are 3 hours, some may be a little bit longer to accomodate the attendees. That will be explained in each shifts' information. If you are not able to cover 3 shifts we can provide individual tickets - please contact Matt@adirondackfilm.org. We appreciate your time as well.
Benefits for Volunteering for 3 shifts:
* T-Shirt (Be sure to answer about your size)
* Full Festival Pass (worth $100) provides entry into the Opening Party, the Opening Film (Cool Runnings), every seminar, every feature film, every shorts screening and the Filmmakers/VIP Lounge.
You are also invited to the Saturday night Short Film Competition Awards Celebration being held in Dancing Bear at 9:00pm with a great band and cash bar.
* The Friday night Tribute "Red Carpet Cocktails" is not included in your Festival Pass
* The Friday night films, in partnership with Adirondack Mountain Club & BETA, are not included in your Pass.
We are looking forward to working with many of you again this year. It's getting bigger and more exciting every year!
I'll be working with you this year prior to, and during the Festival. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks very much,
Matt Fretz (matt@adirondackfilm.org)
